Maggi Didycz

Maggi is currently serving as head teacher in the four year olds' program at Hiland Preschool. Since coming to Hiland in 2003, she has also been the assistant teacher in the three year olds' classroom. Maggi holds a B.S. degree in Elementary and Kindergarten Education from Penn State University. She taught in the Pittsburgh Public Schools before leaving to raise her three active sons, two of which are Hiland Preschool graduates! Maggi and her husband Andrei, live in Ross Township. Some of her hobbies (when she finds the time!) include reading, gardening and decorating. Maggi is anxious to share her enthusiasm for teaching with her new students. Her favorite saying for a rewarding life, “Laugh often, love much!” will be applied in her classroom as well.

Marci McCabe

Marci is the assistant teacher in the four year olds' program. She has served as a Hiland Preschool Board Member for 2004 – 2006. She joined our teaching staff in 2003 as a substitute teacher when her son was enrolled and then became a full time teacher in February 2006. Marci has a degree in Business Management. She is also an active member at Hiland Presbyterian Church working closely with the children’s programs.  Marci and her husband, Kevin, live in Ross Township with their son Ryan. In her free time she enjoys scrapbooking, gardening, making jewelry and spending time with her family and friends.

Patty Peters

Patty serves as teacher in the Mommy & Me as well as the three year old program. She started with Hiland Preschool in 2000 as the assistant teacher in the three year old program, and now is the head teacher. Patty came with many years of experience working with young children through her church’s Awana Clubs. Patty served as Director of the Cubbies (3 and 4 year olds) for six years and oversaw the entire program for three years. She has been working in the Awana program for 20 years and has been teaching children’s church and Sunday school for 20 years also. Patty and her husband John live in Ross Township and they have three children. Her hobbies include making jewelry, making greeting cards, and collecting antiques. Patty is very excited about starting a new year with her new students and having fun with them.

Bonnie McCreary

Bonnie is the assistant teacher in the three year old program.  Her daughters were both students at Hiland before she became a teacher here in September 2007.  Bonnie has a Bachelors Degree in Business Administration from Robert Morris College.  She and her husband Keith reside in Ross Township where they enjoy biking, swimming and spending quality time with their children.  Bonnie looks forward to working with your children and helping to create wonderful memories in an early childhood educational setting.
